Bf110D/E Public Beta for Combat Flight Simulator 2

Groundcrew Bf110D and E Dackelbauch Beta for CFS2, 4.4.2006

Visual Model: Mathias Pommerien
Textures: Alessandro Biagi
Blurred Prop texture: Stefano 'kelticheart' Denti
Original Flightmodel: original work by Gregory Pierson, hacked by Babbo Natale

- Bf110D/R1 of Oberleutnant Gordon Mc Gollob, Staffelkapitaen 3./ZG 76, Stavanger, August 1940.
- Bf110E-1/R1 of 5./NJG 1, Deelen, Spring 1941.

Beta notes:

External model and textures are 98.5% complete (except damage textures and damage "endcaps"), interior is just in draft stadium.
VC is very rudimentary, actually a placeholder only until the "real one" is done.
Flight model is a hack of an older AvHistory 1% Bf110G airfile by Gregory Pierson which has been severally modified to fit this model, so can no longer be considered 1%.

Changes over the FS9 Beta:
- Added a gunsight to the VC
- reargun model added
- damage profile added
- Offending FS landing_light code removed
- CFS2 compatible animation tags for radiator flaps (FS Cowl_Flapsx code can lockup CFS2)
- CFS2 compatible damage part naming conventions in the mdl
- Some minor tweaks to aircraft.cfg and dp

Changes over the previous CFS2 Beta:
- contact points, fuel and engine data adjusted
- automatic slats added
- new propeller texture by Kelticheart. Thank you mate!!!!!!
- fixed the missplaced flap on one of the lower Detail models
- updated damage profile

INSTALLATION:

Make sure that you have the Groundcrew CFS2 Bf110G-2 installed inclusive all support files since this plane uses the same weapons and gauges. Available at our homepage (see URL at the top)

Unzip this zip archive into your CFS2 aircraft folder.

Start CFS2 and shoot 'em up.

Issues and workarounds:

- Sound is aliased to the stock P-38, you may want to get lawdog's DB605x2 sounds off the www.

- The plane has damage textures enabled, however there are none included since they are not done yet.
As a temporary workaround you may want to go to each of your 4 new aircraft's texture folders and dublicate the file "gc_bf110e_t.bmp" under the name "gc_bf110e_d.bmp", else you see large white spots
when parts are shot off the plane.

Credits:

Thanks to Ivan Hsu and Morten Krogstad for MDLC and MDLC_V2 which has been used for final CFS2 conversion.
Thanks also to Stefano Denti (kelticheart@libero.it) for allowing the inclusion of his prop texture.
